Sir, My Clock Melted and My Cat Ate My Calendar

Blooming pink peonies in a corner of the backyard garden of our previous house

"Nobody sees a flower really; it is so small. We haven't time, and to see takes time - like to have a friend takes time."
- Georgia O'Keeffe

Bad things can happen when I'm swimming far deep inside my mind. Too wrapped up in my thoughts and life that I forgot an important event marked on my calendar. Technically, I have been remembering it for the last 2 weeks. Umm, I just forgot to remember it on the day that it actually mattered. Actually, I did remember the day... I just didn't realise that it was today because I wasn't aware that it was the 16th today. Cripes, I have apparently lost track of time. Time does not exist in my ocean.

Hi. Ooops, I'm so very sorry. :-)

Au revoir,
Massa P aka "fruity"

P.S. Oh, that photo - some blooming pink peonies and foliage in a corner of the backyard garden of our previous house several years ago. We hauled the boy-turtle fountain (ooof, heavy) with us when we moved to our current house. I enjoy our current backyard garden in the summer - a lovely resting spot for the weary soul and mind. A few times, I have even lugged my laptop back there to get some work done... which, of course wasn't a very good idea because I hardly got any work done. Hehe.

Whoa... you wrote a blog for the event on the 16th? LOL... it's cool!

Nice garden too, BTW. Maybe one day I'll come by to your current garden and take some pics... ;-)

And maybe you need to feed Max with MORE food... so he doesn't eat anymore of your stuff... haha. >:)

Your clock melted? So did mine! And my cat didn't actually eat my calendar. More like swallowed it.

Well, it depends on the nature of the faux pas, hmmm? I'd forgive you, only after I had cursed you for ALL ETERNITY. >:)

You would need to give me lots and lots and lots of flowers and throw in that boy-turtle fountain before I would forgive you. :-D Just kidding.

Dadaist melting clocks and decaying brain cells. Hey, I'd forgive you although there's probably a special level of Hell for people who forget stuff like that.
