Yesterday, Americans went to the polls to vote in an historic election that saw the first African-American man in U.S. history win the White House 232 years after the nation was founded under the idea that all men are created equal. Progress springs forward. According to a recent poll, if Canadians could vote in the U.S. election, we would have chosen Barack Obama over John McCain. So, thank you America for getting it right! Unfortunately, my fellow Canadians got it so wrong when they shooed in Conservative bonehead Stephen Harper as our leader. We’re often more interested in the American political carnival than the politics in our own country maybe because our gun-toting, war-happy neighbours to the south could nuke us one day. Sarah Palin, you scare me. But enough of this political talk! I don’t blog to use my brain, so why start now?
Recent events have reminded me of how fast time has flown this year. November!
Regarding my recent Halloween post, a quick easy read in comparison to my usual long winding ones, it garnered only 4 comments whereas I’ve gotten loads for much more boring stories. Huh, interesting. Well, thanks Ann, Joyfulchicken, Scart, and Sash for leaving your mark on my blog! It’s been a battle for me to sustain my interest in public blogging. A huge part of me now just wants to blog privately. So when you drop a few words here, it strengthens the case for not closing up shop… not yet.

Hey, I’ve officially written more shit in the entire month of October than the combined total of 2 stinking entries from January to September! If you’ve been reading my so-called comeback posts, did you notice that I’ve been including more photos? Yeah, that’s the new format around here. Less words and more pics to tell part of the story.
Last Sunday, I had to set all my clocks one hour back because of Daylight Saving Time. Spring forward, Fall back? Bleah… DST adjustments throw off my internal space/time continuum.
Getting one hour extra sleep actually makes me feel more sluggish… My body is still adjusting. Anyway, the clock thing reminded me that this year is almost at an end. A glum year of dashed hopes and disappointments (many were of my own making). So I tell myself that I must still try to salvage what I can of this year, but time flies too fast. Or it sneaks up on you and pounces. Sigh. So tired.
Ah, yes… the photos. The 1st photo above belongs to the first set of photos I snapped of B Cat this past Spring. He has grown a bit since then. The 2nd photo is currently the last photo I shot of the frisky fella, just a few days ago. Isn’t he just so adorable?

Hover your mouse cursor over any image to read its ALT description. To cycle through all thumbnails, click on the first thumbnail to view full-sized image. Enjoy! The first 6 photos below were taken in the Spring. The last two were snapped a few days ago:
I know I probably come across as a Crazy Cat Chick. I really don’t care. He’s… cute!
Adieu,
fruity fell hard
P.S. For the record, I preferred Hillary Clinton based on the idea that all QUALIFIED men and women are created equal. But Sarah Palin… no. To paraphrase Sarah Palin, “I can see United States from my house in Canada!” And also those nukes. ![]()

The feeling is mutual.
Wishing you the cheeriest of holidays. Me say, there’s bliss in distance.
Merry Christmas. Greeting you on this post ’cause I don’t know when you’ll update again. Hope you’re having a great time this holiday season.
Every time a bell rings, a blogger gets his wings.
Dead Blog Walking, soon?
Aloha! I’m back. ;p Lovely shots you have there. =)
Wow! Fruity big time fan mo ako! 3rd runner up sa comment!!!
Happy Holidays!!
/kiss
Everyone is mad at me because I didn’t vote, but I didn’t like either candidate!
Awwww… cute cat! He reminds me so much of the stray cat that our pet dog adopted and saw as if it was her pup. *sigh* The cat got killed recently by our other dog. One sunny morning, we just saw it lifeless over a corner of our backyard. Well, whatever… so much for that! ‘Em looking forward to your next entry!
Off-topic… panu ka nagka Nuffnang ads??? Hehe.
Zomg! You’re blogging!
I did not vote for Obama.
I like the pic “Can I eat these leaves?” LOL.
Sarah Palin scares me too. LOLZ.
Love,
Nobe
First, I would comment more often here… if you actually replied to my comments. Second, you tweak your tiny “about blurb” more often than you post.
(I notice these things.) Lastly, what’s with the depressing music stream?
XOXO
Love the key words -you are a genius. VERY cute cat
and -right on with the political opinions. Harper is a dud -American politics captured much more interest -Palin was/is scary/funny/farcical and Hillary is a good example of a qualified woman in American politics -Obama rocks and will do great things I hope.
Nice post. Nice blog redesign -particularly pointed and driven -well done. Should get together for coffee sometime. I am in blog hell -DreamHost nightmares -you did warn me.
The Obama win was very much felt almost around the world. And he was welcomed with crises to figure out as much as with American cheers. We have to brace ourselves for the moment of action.
I’ve also been more of an “anonymous, private blogger” these days. I guess this is my transition to start (probably) my new blog since I already closed my current one. It’s good to be “Pugante Mode” sometimes.
Pugante = prison escapee
OMG!! I was actually rooting for Sarah Palin… bcoz I think it would be fun to have her as VP!!!
She is funnyyyyyyyyyy!!! LOL!
Kiss
Fendi
I am happy that Obama won and hopefully he does a good job.
I’m glad that Obama won. Though I also would’ve preferred Clinton. And at this point anyone but Palin.
Farm Boy just spelled out your appeal and ingenuity. I’ll keep enjoying my fruity fix as long as you keep churning them out. ^^
Go and pounce back. PAWN whatever’s left of the year. Or make your cat army sit on it. There’s always next year and at the very least, the drunken merriment of Christmas and New Year.
I love your cat!!!
You’ll get your readers back, I’m sure. Don’t stop blogging. But yeah for some weird reasons, my readers prefer crappy posts too… hmmm.
Don’t stop blogging! I’m sure your fans will come back now that you’re back to posting more than once every six months.
And yeah, B Cat is cute, but… where is Max?
What happened to Max?? Is B Cat a new kitty??
Very nice pics!
I believe the equality Jefferson speaks of is the equality under the law and the rejection of “the divine right of kings”. That’s how I remember Gr. 10 history class. Equality of qualification is not implied, since America in theory is a meritocracy.
I am glad Obama won because I believe his platform was better and his VP seemed better prepared. But voting someone in because they are black makes as little sense as voting in someone in because they are white. Voting should be based on important factors, such as the candidate’s height and which way his hair parts.
For 2008, I was thinking Hillary Clinton was the most qualified. Sometimes, I wonder if all that was proven is that Americans are more sexist, then racist… j/k.
Also, I sense a disturbance in the farce. Did you changed “Fandango” to “fell hard”? If you keep altering the timeline, Hiro will end up taking Sarah Connor to the prom and Marty will never be born.
I had to reread this over again. Upon the second reading, I realized how twisted and underrated you are! You can take that tongue out of your cheek now.
You managed to cover the recent American election, your personal life, the phrase “Spring forward, Fall back”, LOLcats… and somehow link all these together in a package that is deceivingly well… light and cute. Shallow… you are not.
Hey… do you have a pic of B Cat when he actually jumps at you?
Nice pics of B Cat! He is cute… hehe.
And how come all of your falling leaves look the same?
Just how many kitties do you have?
*Waits for time when photos of an obese B Cat shall be in one of your posts.*
BIG ELEPHANT HINT: Bring back Max the Fat Cat and the food porn then maybe all your old readers will return? WINK, WINK, WINK.
B Cat is a nice addition to the mix, but you really don’t need to change the “format”. Just be YOURSELF again, please. AWESOME PICS, BTW!
